It started with Burgese Kitchens, a small family business focused on renovating kitchens for Philadelphia clients. Then, in 1993 we formed Burgese Builders, expanding our work to include much more than kitchens. Now, we're a full-scale team of professional contractors with the experience and expertise to tackle any building job, no matter how ambitious.
We are an independently-owned and operated company, and we handle every aspect of construction management. Work with our team and you'll work directly with our second-generation owners, not with mid-level supervisors or a host of disjointed contractors.
Our specialty is in custom residential construction, and we've worked with some of the best architects in the Philadelphia area—including Ambit Architecture, Michael Ryan Architects, and Architectural Alliance—to build award-winning homes. Our experience and attention to detail means we deliver exceptional quality, materials, functionality, and style for every customer, every time.
Our team is fully licensed to work in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the City of Philadelphia. We're also certified in Lead Abatement and OSHA safety.

Judie Burgese, Vice President/CEO | Judie is our vice president and CEO. with over 20 years of industry experience plus a Real Estate License since 1990. She brings knowledge and understanding. Alongside with her attention to detail, Judie is an exceptional team leader, she strives to look for ways to improved sustainability in the office and on every project. She handles everything that happens off-site—client/project coordination, organization, accounting, modernizing infrastructure and more.
Donte Burgese, Project Manager Assistant | Donte attended West Chester University for Business Management, he currently assists in Project Management plus is pursuing his Pro Gaming career with Pubg Pro League Corp, we wish him all the success in his new career!
Alisha, Social Media Operations | Alisha is our social media guru. She handles all marketing, permits etc. Her focus includes marketing efforts, apparel, newsletter, social media and various daily office procedures.
Construction Crew and Carpenters | In addition to our core office team, we also have a team of our hardworking, meticulous, experienced team builders. Our core team members consist of Bryan, Teddy, Mark and Jerry, which have been with Burgese Builder's for many years, and their expertise brings finesse to every job. Altogether, our team has experience in every facet of construction, having worked in commercial and residential construction, completing jobs from beginning to end.
Dominic Burgese, President/CEO | Dominic is founder, president, and CEO of Burgese Builders. He has over 25 years experience, started working for his Father & Uncle's business known as Burgese Kitchens in South Philly in the 80's. He then went on to form his own company with his wife in 1993, which is currently Burgese Builder's. Dominic continues to build a robust general contracting firm known for its commitment to quality and professionalism. As a company principal with over 25 years of industry experience, Dominic provides strategic vision and oversight for the company. He takes great pride in making a positive impact in the construction industry, exceeding client expectations and making Burgese Builder's a truly exceptional place to work. He leads each and every project from beginning to end, assuring quality and attention to detail in every aspect of every job.
Bobbi, Office Coordinator | Bobbi has been with our company for over 10 years. She is usually the first voice you will hear when you call our office, and she is friendly, organized person who guides all our clients through the design process. She is adept at collaborating with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to work toward a mutual goal.
